*Substitute (teacher out sick - sorry guys! I have had a terrible case of bronchitis with fever that I can't shake. Hoping to return on Tuesday!)
- Complete all 3 conjuguemos for Chapter 3. These are due in class, even if you have already worked on them some before today, credit will only be given to those turned in during class time.
- In my absence, to be fair, I am canceling the quiz for Wednesday. We will only have a test on this unit (next Thursday).

*Talk about writing performance essay (next Monday)
1. Review positive tú commands - fill in chart and verb practice on back
2. Command chain activity (students take turns giving/following commands and writing down what they hear)
Wed, Nov 7 - (NO QUIZ!)
For each activity, copy the entire sentence, write answer, and write English translation of the sentence
1. Book p.121 Act. 11 (+ tú commands)
2. Book p.122, Act. 13 (- tú commands)
3. Rewrite writing assignments #1-3, making any necessary corrections, to prepare for writing PE.
Thur, Nov 8 -
1.Read the information about how to form positive and negative commands with Ud./Uds. (top of p.123 in textbook)
2. Do Activity 15 on p.123 - Write one positive and one negative command telling people what to do in each of the locations listed. Use Ud. commands only for this exercise.
3.Do Activity 18 on p.125 - Copy down the list of problems from column A. Then match the correct piece of health advice from column B, and write it using the Ud./Uds. commands.
* TURN IN the assignments from the book.
4. Fill in the rest of the verb chart (4 columns) on the back of the command notes, using your positive tú command notes and pages 121-123 in the book for the different command patterns. THEN check your work by looking at the key I posted on today’s date of the website. DO NOT check until you have tried to fill all of the chart in. This will help you be sure that you are learning the patterns!
Finish early? - Work on the Test Review links that are listed under Friday’s date on the website OR continue reviewing for the writing PE.ANSWER KEY for verb chart with commands

- Check your answers using this KEY
2. Commands review - PPT (in pairs or individually)
- you can pair up with another student to compete and test your knowledge of commands!
See who can answer the most correctly. Write the answers down on paper and check them as you go.
(Hopefully this will display correctly. I was not able to convert it to a Google Slides. If answers show,
just hold your hand over them or take turns rotating the screen so the other person doesn't see it)

4. Take 5-10 minutes to study vocabulary (looking over your list, doing a quick conjuguemos game or two)
5. Quiz yourself or pair up with someone to try the vocab game.
